Checchi & Magli transplanters feature a unique delivery system that allows plants to be placed in the soil in a perfectly upright position, from 6 inches apart, to 20 inches apart. Land wheel drive assures very accurate plant placement. All models have a variety of shoes available for different size plants. Tray racks and carousels, shade canopy, lights are just a few of the accessories available. Water systems that deliver a measured amount directly to the plant can be incorporated (with or without a tank).
Checchi & Magli Dual 12 Transplanters - labor saving, standard plugs, trays and plates
Checchi & Magli's patented Dual 12 system allows a single operator to feed a 12-cup carousel which alternately drops the plants in 2 coulters (shoes). Having a single operator feeding two lines substantially reduces transplant labor. Depending on the model, the plant rows can be adjusted to accommodate a wide variety of configurations.
Regardless of plant row spacing, plants are set in a perfect stagger pattern, which is another unique feature that sets Dual 12 apart from the competition.
Dual 12 models are land wheel driven for the best possible plant spacing accuracy.
Dual 12 Compact is the transplanter for closer spacings. As growers strive to plant more plants per acre, getting rows closer is a challenge. Dual 12 plant lines can be set as close as an impressive 9-inches apart making this model ideal for wide bed plantings of 4 and 6 lines per bed.
