Zon cannon blasts are generated by clean-burning, readily available propane gas.
Blast volume is adjustable from 100 to 125 decibels. Sound level is adjustable via telescopic inner barrel.
A standard 20 pound (5 GAL) propane tank provides approximately 17,000 Zon Mark 4 Cannon detonations.
After starting the gas and setting the gas regulator at the desired blast interval from about 30 seconds up to 30 minutes, the Zon Mark 4 Cannon will operate unattended. Gas regulator is included with purchase.

The Zon Mark 4 Cannon comes standard with legs that stand it about one foot off the ground. One Zon gun will protect approximately 1 to 5 acres, depending on the shape and topography of the field. Zon guns are ideal for bird control in vineyards, orchards, row crops - practically any large, open area with pest birds AND wildlife.

ZON PROPANE CANNON ACCESSORIES
The optional Zon Mark 4 Tripod Assembly ($125) elevates the Zon gun 4-1/2 feet high, and allows it to rotate approximately 60 degrees with the impact of each blast. This protects more acreage since each blast is in a different direction from the previous.
For taller crops, add the Zon Tripod Extension Kit ($30). Up to 2 kits can be added to raise the Zon gun as much as 4 additional feet (about 8.5' maximum Tripod height).
Ideal for bird control in orchards, corn fields, or other areas with high growing crops.

With the optional Zon Automatic Cannon Timer ($107), you can set a daily start/stop time. The Zon timer automatically starts and stops operation of the propane cannon each day at your specified time (1 on/off period per day).
One AA battery will power the Zon timer for an entire season.
Timer connects to gas hose between cannon and propane tank (as illustrated in the above tripod picture).

The Zon timer can be used with any mechanical propane cannon, but is not needed with the electronic Zon EL08 propane cannon, or the Zon 4MT08 electronic conversion kit (below) which each feature a built-in, enhanced timer with multiple on/off periods.
Note: The optional $107 Zon cannon timer does not regulate the time between cannon blasts (this function is controlled by the gas regulator included with cannon purchase); it turns the gas flow on, then off at specified times (one on / one off period per day), which is useful in situations where it is not convenient to access the cannon every day to turn on and off the gas.

With the Zon 4MT08 Propane Cannon Conversion Kit ($199), you can convert your existing Zon Mark 4, Zon Mark 2, or any other mechanical propane cannon to a semi-electronic cannon.

- Multiple blast capability - electronic timer can produce 1, 2, 3, or 4 blasts in a series with approximately 5 seconds between consecutive blasts.
- Programmable configuration - blast intervals can be set between 1 minute and 60 minutes.
- Random blast settings - electronic timer provides 3 different random blast interval settings (1 to 5, 1 to 10, and 1 to 15 minutes).
- Enhanced timer - there's no need to purchase a separate on/off timer; the 4MT08 Conversion Kit includes a 24-hour timer that can be programmed with up to 4 daily on/off periods.
