BIRD BOMBS®

Bird Bombs® (15 mm red colored cartridge) explode with a very loud "BANG" that scares pest birds and wildlife. They're fired from a hand held launcher, and will travel 75 - 100 feet before exploding. Actual range varies depending on firing angle and wind factor.
Bird Bombs® are fired at a 45º angle using a Single-Shot Launcher (pictured), or a Double-Barrel Launcher.	Bird Bombs® cartridge is 2-inches long (15 mm diameter).
		Bird Bombs® are sold in increments of 100 as pictured above (pic shows 2 boxes of 50 rounds + 1 can of 100 blanks). $48 per unit of 100 rounds
Bird Bombs® must be stored properly. Federal explosives license is required for purchase by private or corporate users (license not required from government entities/public agencies). BIRD WHISTLERS®
FEL is NOT required for purchase.

	Bird Whistlers® (15 mm green colored cartridge) make a very loud "SCREECH" sound that scares pest birds and wildlife. They're fired from a hand held launcher, and will screech for 250 - 300 feet. Actual range varies depending on firing angle and wind factor.
	Bird Whistlers® cartridge is 2-inches long (15 mm diameter).	Bird Whistlers® are fired at a 45º angle using a Single-Shot Launcher (pictured), or a Double-Barrel Launcher.

Effective May 25, 2012, Sutton Ag's Bird Whistlers® are no longer regulated by ATF. Purchasers are not required to hold an FEL, but your Declaration of Use (form available upon request) is required to be on file with Sutton Ag prior to purchase. Shipment is subject to hazardous materials handling fees imposed by the carrier (currently $27.50 per package; up to 2,000 rounds of Bird Whistlers® can be shipped in a single package).

BIRD BOMB® and BIRD WHISTLER® ACCESSORIES

	Bird Bombs® and Bird Whistlers® are fired using .22 Caliber Blanks (6 mm). 100 Rounds of blanks/caps are included with 100 rounds of either cartridge and are also available for purchase separately. $8/canister of 100 rounds

The Single-Shot Launcher has long been the standard launcher for projecting Bird Bombs® and Bird Whistlers®. A single cartridge and cap are loaded in the Single-Shot when firing. $33 each

	The Double-Barrel Launcher automatically re-cocks after the first round is fired, allowing you to fire twice in quick succession (bottom barrel fires first, top barrel second). Double-Barrels reduce reloading time, and are also useful when combining "screech" sound of Bird Whistlers® with "bang" sound of Bird Bombs®. $42 each

SHELL CRACKERS

Shell Crackers (also known as "cracker shells") work in the same manner as Bird Bombs®, but are fired from a 12 gauge shotgun.		Shell Crackers are sold in increments of 100 rounds (4 boxes of 25 cartridges each; single box of 25 pictured above). $120 per unit of 100 rounds
Shell Crackers are especially useful when a greater firing distance is desired as they will travel 200 feet or more before exploding. Actual range varies depending on firing angle and wind factor.	.

Shell Crackers must be fired from a clean shotgun without a full choke, and with a chamber at least 2-3/4 inches long, and a barrel at least 20 inches long. Shell Crackers must be stored propelry. A federal explosives license is required for purchase by private or corporate users (license not required from government entities/public agencies). Shipment is subject to hazardous materials handling fees imposed by the carrier (currently $27.50 per package).

SUTTON AG'S EPCD STORAGE MAGAZINES

Whether subject to federal licensing or not, EPCDs (Bird Bombs® and Shell Crackers) must always be properly stored. For your convenience, we offer approved storage magazines in 2 sizes: Mag Model 1, $550: Capacity 5 cu.ft. / Holds up to 1,400 rounds of Bird Bombs® Dimensions: 32" long x 19" wide x 19" high. Weight when empty: 77 lbs. Mag Model 2, $195: Capacity 2 cu.ft. / Holds up to 600 rounds of Bird Bombs® Dimensions: 22" long x 12" wide x 14" high. Weight when empty: 25 lbs. (Shell Crackers can also be stored in either magazine)

Note for FEL applicants: A variance is required to store Bird Bombs® in either model magazine. Magazine purchase includes the following required paperwork for submission to the ATF: Partially completed "Explosives Storage Magazine Description Worksheet" (ATF form 5400.13/5400.16). You'll just need to enter your information as applicable (a practice worksheet is included with these areas highlighted). "Plat plan" for you to diagram the storage location of the magazine. A sample of the "variance request letter" which you can copy onto your letterhead, as well as backup attachments (ie: Sutton Ag's Classification of Explosives, and U.S. Dept. of Justice determination letter).
